LINTELOO-BUTCHER-COLLECTION

image001_1LINTELOO will open the doors of their showroom at Via Tortona 37 during the Milan Design Week. After celebrating twenty years of LINTELOO with a spectacular presentation by Paola Navone in Milan last year, this year LINTELOO parties on. Paola Navone will create a new concept for the showroom and presents a new sofa. Sjoerd Vroonland launches his first design – a dining table – for LINTELOO. Niels Bendtsen presents sofa SETTEE and Roderick Vos Shop will present al low, terrazzo casted side table called HEXAGON. Marcel Wolterinck created three new designs for the VERDEN Collection. Last, but not least, LINTELOO Lab introduces casual sitting systeem Southampton and beautiful new cushions and knitted plaids.

Young Dutch designer Sjoerd Vroonland (1985) studied at the Hout- en Meubileringscollege in Rotterdam and also graduated from ArtEZ Academy, specialising in product design. From 2010 until 2014 he worked together with designer Arjan Vaandrager. Some of the designs by Vroonland & Vaandrager are now in the collection of design label Moooi. Today Vroonland runs his own label from his atelier in Amsterdam. His innovative products are inspired by classic designs and are created using materials, techniques and shapes we are all familiar with.

From the archetypal saddle to the antique clothespin, Vroonland uses the best features of time-honoured design and finds new ways to apply them, combining contrasting materials. Instead of hiding all technical details, the designer focuses on the beauty of construction. The result is both pure and poetic.

Linteloo will present a new table by Sjoerd Vroonland during the Salone del Mobile in Milan, April 2015.
